Allergic to bananas? Don't like beets? Now you can customize Sigona's Home Deliveries produce boxes! With this update, you are now able to remove and replace up to two items in your boxes for a nominal fee ($1 per change).
Here's how it works:
Placing a new customized produce box order:
1. Navigate to the box(es) that you'd like to add to your order. Click the orange "Customize My Box (Fees Apply)."
2. A pop up will appear with the current list of substitutions, and two fields to enter your changes. Each field is for one item change only. For example, you could enter "Remove bananas, add Fuji apples" or "No mangoes, add yellow peaches", but not "Remove apples and bananas, and add more peaches."
3. After making your requests, click "Save Changes." You can then add the box to your cart and proceed with your order.
As menus change weekly, we recommend making customizations to one-time orders or upcoming deliveries of your subscription, rather than customizing a subscription.
Customizing a placed produce box order:
1. Navigate to "My Account" in the upper right corner of any page. From here, you can view your produce subscriptions and upcoming deliveries. We recommend making customizations to upcoming deliveries rather than your subscriptions because of our weekly rotating menus.
2. Click on the upcoming delivery you'd like to customize. From here, you'll see a red edit button next to produce boxes. Click this button.
3. A pop up will appear with the current list of substitutions, and two fields to enter your changes. Each field is for one item change only. For example, you could enter "Remove bananas, add Fuji apples" or "No mangoes, add yellow peaches", but not "Remove apples and bananas, and add more peaches." Click "Save Changes" after entering your customizations.
No longer want to customize? To remove a customization, just click that same edit button within the order, delete the text in the field and click the "Save Changes" button.
